The Vampire Diaries is going to have a new foe when the show begins season 4. According to TVLine, Todd Williams has been cast as Connor, a major new character who will show up in the second episode of the new season.
Connor is described as a “scary hot” and “mysterious and powerful” vampire hunter who comes to Mystic Falls. I’m guessing since Alaric is dead and the Council has been informed of what’s really going on, he might be show up to clean up the mess. That could be a problem since about half the main cast is comprised of vampires, including the recently-turned Elena.
Williams recently starred on the FOX drama The Chicago Code where he played Vonda’s partner and boyfriend, Isaac.
Connor is one of two new major characters joining The Vampire Diaries season 4. The other is April, a 16-year-oild girl who returns to Mystic Falls after the death of a family member.
We’ll be getting more insights into the new season when The Vampire Diaries hits Comic-Con Saturday.
The Vampire Diaries season 4 begins Thursday, October 11 at 8pm on the CW.
