Just in time for tonight’s final performance show and tomorrow’s crowning of The Voice, fans of the NBC summer smash have another Voice show to look forward to, if they happen to live near a major metropolitan area.
NBC announced today that the show’s eight semi-finalists will embark on a U.S. tour this summer. Beverly McClellan and Frenchie Davis of Team Christina Aguilera, Vicci Martinez and Nakia of Team Cee Lo Green, Dia Frampton and Xenia of Team Blake Shelton, and Javier Colon and Casey Weston of Team Adam Levine will all perform in the tour, for which dates and venues have not yet been announced.
Missing from the Live Nation tour’s billing are those coaches, though. Talks to get the superstars on the tour broke down over compensation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The tour is slated to begin later this summer, and will likely go through the fall, wrapping before the second season of The Voice premieres in February after the Super Bowl.
Fans of Adam Levine can still see him live this summer if they want to shell out the cash: The Maroon 5 frontman is hitting the road with his band and Train beginning July 22.
Tonight: Don’t miss the live recap of The Voice right here on BuddyTV, starting at 9pm ET. The final four will hit the stage for their final solo performances and duets with their coaches (plus at least one special guest!) to earn your votes before tomorrow’s finale.
