The second season of The Voice just got even bigger, as NBC announced today that a slew of famous and multi-platinum artists will join their four famous coaches — Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine — as advisers during the competition’s battle rounds.

Kelly Clarkson, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds,” Jewel, Miranda Lambert, Alanis Morissette, Ne-Yo, Lionel Richie and Robin Thicke will all lend their musical knowledge and skills as advisers to the six artists on each of the four teams. The adviser and team pairings are as follows:

Team Adam: Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke
Team Blake: Kelly Clarkson and (Blake’s wife) Miranda Lambert
Team Cee Lo: Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Ne-Yo
Team Christina: Jewel and Lionel Richie

In “Battle Rounds,” performers from each team sing side by side with a fellow team member, with one performer being eliminated after each battle. This stage comes after The Voice‘s initial “Blind Audition” stage, in which the coaches vie for team members after first hearing each performer with their backs turned to the stage.
