The Voice decided to change things up for the finale of season 3. Three singers will compete for the title, meaning only one of the final 4 will be sent home today.
Who will it be? If iTunes is any hint, then it’s pretty obvious who will be in The Voice finale.
Video Recap: The Final 4 Perform>>
As of Tuesday morning, Cassadee Pope’s “Stupid Boy” was at number 1 on the iTunes chart while Terry McDermott’s “Let It Be” was at number 2. That’s some incredible domination by Team Blake. In addition, Nicholas David was at number 6 with “You Are So Beautiful.”
That leaves Trevin Hunte. He’s not in the Top 10 as of Tuesday morning, but it’s entirely possible he creeped into the Top 10 briefly Monday night. If not, then his will be the only iTunes votes not multiplied by 10 and it’s almost certain he’s going home.
If he did make the Top 10, he might still go home. No matter what, Cassadee, Terry and Nicholas definitely got more iTunes downloads than Trevin and should get a huge boost in their vote totals because of it.
Hitting number 1 is particularly impressive for Cassadee Pope. Every song she’s performed since the Top 10 week has landed on the iTunes Top 10 and this is not her first time at number 1. She clearly has a massive fan base.
So just looking at the numbers, Trevin Hunte’s time is up. I see very little chance of a surprise during Tuesday night’s results show, but stranger things have happened this season.
