The President of the United States will address a joint session of Congress on February 28, resulting in scheduling shifts on NBC. The season finale of This Is Us, which was originally scheduled to air on March 7, will now air March 14 at 9/8c. John Lithgow’s comedy Trial & Error will be pushed back a week to March 14 at 10/9c following the season ender of This Is Us, though the show will be debuting with two episodes instead of one.
Meanwhile, a new episode of Chicago Justice is slated to air on March 7 at 10pm after the penultimate episode of This Is Us. As a result, viewers will get three installments of the new Dick Wold series in one week, including the preview episode on March 1 as part of the Chicago crossover night with Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. and Chicago Justice‘s series premiere on March 5.
How do you feel about these scheduling changes?
