The Vampire Diaries may have wrapped up its first season but Katerina Graham is keeping herself busy these days with her upcoming film Honey 2, the second installment to the 2003 motion picture which featured Jessica Alba. Graham will be playing the lead character, 17-year-old Maria Bennett, who rediscovers her passion for dance after a run-in with the law.

According to the press release, Honey 2 “takes audiences into the complex world of street crews who express both their individuality and community through an awe-inspiring array of dance styles including b-boy, turfin’, hyphy, morphing, gliding, popping, locking, salsa and jazz, among many others.”
Joining Graham in the movie are Randy Wayne (Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning), Seychelle Gabriel (The Last Airbender), Christopher “War” Martinez (Bring It On: Fight to the Finish), Brittany Perry Russell (CSI: NY), Tyler Nelson (Stomp The Yard 2), Luke Broadlick (Britney Spears Circus tour, Step Up 3-D), and Melissa Smith (The Pussycat Dolls Present: the Search for the Next Doll).
Honey 2, which has already kicked off production in Los Angeles, is just one of Graham’s upcoming projects for the big screen since joining The Vampire Diaries where she plays Bonnie Bennett. She’s also slated to appear in Chicago Pulaski Jones, The Roommate, Boogie Town and Bleachers.
