The NCIS season 10 airs on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. The episode, called “Damned if You Do,” looks like it will be one intense 40 minutes. Check out the synopsis and sneak peek clips below and see what happens when Gibbs’ past catches up to him.
First up, let’s take a look at the official synopsis of the episode from CBS:
“Damned If You Do” – The international manhunt for Eli David and Jackie Vance’s killer turns into a federal witch hunt against Gibbs and the team, which questions their unconventional methods and threatens their future at the agency, on the 10th season finale of NCIS, Tuesday, May 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Guest stars include Colin Hanks as Department of Defense IG Investigator Richard Parsons, Muse Watson as Mike Franks, and John M. Jackson as Rear Admiral AJ Chegwidden.
In the preview video, we see that Gibbs is going to be in some hot water in this episode as Parsons begins an all-out war against the team leader.

- All Gibbs ever wanted to be was a good Marine.
- Gibbs has been specifically targeted for the investigation and they’re stopping at nothing, even going so far as to search his house.
- Gibbs will try to stop them, but his team is determined to help him.
- Gibbs (with a little help from his old friend Mike Franks) decides to fight back. But just who is he planning to shoot?
In the sneak peek clip from the episode, we find Parsons and Gibbs having a little chat but it looks like Gibbs has been anything but an easy suspect.
Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:
- Gibbs sat down in front of Parsons for nearly a week before saying a word.
- When asked “why now?” Parsons says it’s because enough is enough.
- Parsons’ division has been noticing Gibbs sweeping things under the rug for 20 years.
- Parsons is happy that he’s finally getting to bring Gibbs down and wants him to step up and take responsibility so his team won’t have to.
