Heretics at a Whitmore College ball — what could possibly go wrong there? (Everything, probably.) Stefan and Caroline are headed to the Heaven & Hell ball in The Vampire Diaries‘ “I Carry Your Heart With Me” to distract the girls.
Also in the episode, Damon has to come up with a plan B due to an unexpected turn of events, and the fallout of his actions gains the unwanted attention of Mary Louise and Nora. Plus, Enzo tries to figure out what Valerie’s hiding, and a plan set by Alaric and Bonnie eaves their worlds turned upside down.

Watch the promo for The Vampire Diaries season 7 episode 4 “I Carry Your Heart With Me”:
What’s Damon going to do when he finds Oscar’s dead body? (Don’t you hate it when one heretic kills another and leaves the mess for someone else to clean up?) Well, it’s a good thing he knows a way to bring him back to life with the other heretics around and another dead one turning up not in Damon’s best interest.
To make matters worse, Matt’s going to have to deal with humans who think “there’s no real danger” in Mystic Falls, and what they’re clapping for? Not part of any normal tour.

Check out a sneak peek as Bonnie and Caroline catch up on their “weird” lives in their dorm:
“Am I gonna catch fire?” Bonnie asks as she hugs her best friend, and while Caroline would love nothing more than to worry about magic later and go shopping for Halloween costumes, that’s not really in the cards. Bonnie fills her in on Alaric’s hopes for Jo, and when the vampire wonders if it could work, Bonnie argues that maybe it shouldn’t. “The Other Side is gone. There’s no more Gemini prison world, which means that Jo’s spirit is probably at peace,” she explains.
The Vampire Diaries season 7 airs Thursdays at 8pm on the CW.

If it’s on TV — especially if it’s a procedural or superhero show — chances are Meredith watches it. She has a love for all things fiction, starting from a young age with ER and The X-Files on the small screen and the Nancy Drew books. Arrow kicked off the Arrowverse and her true passion for all things heroes. She’s enjoyed getting into the minds of serial killers since Criminal Minds, so it should be no surprise that her latest obsession is Prodigal Son.
