CBS Fall 2016 TV Schedule: Michael Weatherly‘s Bull Paired with NCIS and More Shakeups >>>
Bull (Tuesdays at 9pm)
Bull is a fictional take on Dr. Phil’s early career as a trial lawyer. NCIS alum Michael Weatherly stars as Dr. Jason Bull, who is “brilliant, brash and charming,” according to CBS. He surrounds himself with experts at his consulting firm, Trial Analysis Corporation, including his brother-in-law, a neurolinguistics expert from the Department of Homeland Security, a former NYPD detective, a tough investigator, a millennial hacker and a stylist. The series also stars Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio and Chris Jackson.
Watch the trailer below:
As you can see, this first look video gives an in-depth preview of the series and specifically how Weatherly’s character behaves. The fact that Bull is inspired by Dr. Phil’s early career is intriguing, and NCIS fans who are going to miss Weatherly will want to check it out.

Pure Genius (Thursdays at 10pm)
After Code Black this past season, CBS has created another medical drama. Pure Genius centers around tech titan James Bell and his state-of-the-art hospital that he claims will revolutionize healthcare. He appoints a veteran surgeon, who’s a big of a maverick with a sketchy past, to run the hospital. The series stars Augustus Prew, Dermot Mulroney, Odette Annable, Reshma Shetty, Aaron Jennings, Ward Horton and Brenda Song.
Take a look at the trailer here:
We’re already seeing the two doctors butting heads, with one being more of a traditionalist and the other more about creating a healthcare revolution. The way Bell has set up his hospital is fascinating, but does it make Pure Genius different and unique enough to draw viewers in?
