When Supernatural returns in 2017, it will be at a new time and with a new problem for Sam and Dean. At the end of the last episode, the Winchesters were arrested by the federal government for attempting to kill the President. How will they get out of this mess?
In a new extended trailer for the first episode of the new year, “First Blood,” we see Sam and Dean being held at a black site, an off the books prison where it appears the guards are going to kill them. Naturally this leads them to fight back in an attempt to stage a prison break. We also see Castiel and Mary, who appear to be bonding over the fact that Sam and Dean have been MIA for over six weeks.
Supernatural returns Thursday, January 26 at 8/7c on the CW.
