Supernatural has relied pretty heavily on the British Men of Letters storyline in the past few episodes, but now it seems the show is getting back to its roots. In “The Memory Remains,” Sam and Dean investigate a missing person in a small town, and the prime suspect is a goat man.
In this clip, the Winchesters interrogate a witness who tells them all about Black Bill, a man with a goat’s head who allegedly killed the missing person. There seem to be some serious Donnie Darko vibes, with the goat replacing the rabbit from that Jake Gyllenhaal movie.
In addition, the Supernatural post-production team released a very eerie silent trailer with Black Bill staring at Dean through the eye holes of the goat head.
Supernatural airs Thursdays at 8/7c on the CW.
