There are two ways to know that you’ve made it in pop culture. One is to be parodied on Saturday Night Live, and the other is to be parodied or referenced on The Simpsons. HBO’s Game of Thrones now qualifies in the latter.
In this week’s episode of The Simpsons, the opening couch gag featured a parody of the opening title sequence for Game of Thrones, complete with theme music. Check it out.
