Aundrea Fimbres was discovered on MTV’s reality show Making the Band 3 . Although short in height, her soaring vocal range impressed many fans and even the show’s vocal coach Doc Holliday. Eager to prove that she has the look, the voice and the dancing ability, she pursued the contest and successfully became part of the all female group Danity Kane, along with Shannon Bex, Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard, and D.Woods. At present, she remains to be part of the group and a significant contributing member to the band’s second album.
Danity Kane’s second album is what’s keeping Aundrea Fimbres busy these days. She is currently writing and producing several songs for the group’s upcoming album, which is slated for release this year.
Following Making the Band, she, together with other band mates, released Danity Kane’s debut album, which peaked on the Billboard charts despite initial mixed reviews. Accordingly, the band was able to broaden its exposure as they performed opening acts, along with The Pussycat Dolls on Christina Aguilera’s Back to Basics Tour.
In addition to Making the Band, Fimbres also made appearances on television shows like Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, 106 & Park Top 10 Live, and Bl!tz.
Aundrea Fimbres will always be associated with Making the Band and, of course, her group Danity Kane, which remains to be intact as confirmed by its members despite many separation rumors. Known as the baby of the group, she continues to woo the crowd with her might voice and provocative dance moves.
