Apart from the comedy series Committed, Josh Cooke was also known as one of the lead stars on the short-lived series Big Day, a sitcom that follows all angles in the wedding of Danny and Alice, as the couple gets caught in unfortunate incidents and obstacles. He portrayed the groom Danny from November 28, 2006 to January 30, 2007, in a total of 12 aired episodes.
Following Big Day’s cancellation, Josh Cooke guest starred on The King of Queens in the episode China Syndrome, part 1 and 2, as Rabbi Feldman. In addition, he also graced several celebrity events and award-giving ceremonies.
Gradually, Cooke has acquired projects slated for release this year. He has just completed filming the television pilot called Law Dogs, a drama about a team of public defenders. He stars as Matt Harper and is joined by other actors like Rachael Carpani, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Katheryn Winnick. He also has two films coming up, which are both in post-production stages. The first is Y.P.F., a sexy comedy about five couples over the course of one sexual escapade. He stars as Eric and is joined by Diora Baird, Carly Pope, Josh Dean, Callum Blue and Kristin Booth. Last but not the least, he stars as Ron in Bachelor Party 2, a sequel to the 1984 Tom Hanks comedy, Bachelor Party. Written by Jay Longino and directed by James Ryan, the movie also includes Harland Williams as Derek, Greg Pitts as Jason, Warren Christie as Todd, Danny Jacobs as Seth, Karen Gordon as Autumn and Steven Crowley as Billy just to name a few.
