Chris Pratt was known as the character Harold Brighton “Bright” Abbott on the drama series Everwood, in which he earned several nominations for Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Sidekick. He portrayed the son of Dr. Harold “Hal” Abbott, Jr. and Rose Abbott, older brother to Amy and best friend to Colin Hart. Throughout the show, he was known for his promiscuity and string of relationships.
Following the series Everwood, Pratt was cast in the film Walk the Talk as the character Cam. He also landed the role on the teen drama The O.C. He portrayed the character Ché, a friend of Summer Roberts who attended Brown University, and appeared on nine episodes of the series.
Pratt stars in the movie Wieners, a comedy directed by Mark Steilen. Currently pending for release, he portrays the role of Bobby, joining other actors such as Fran Kranz, Kenan Thompson, Zachary Levi, Darell Hammond, Jenny McCarthy and Andy Milonakis. He also stars in the film Kids in America, a comedy-drama about a college grad who pursues his dream girl at a wild Labor Day weekend party. He stars as Kyle Masterson, along with Dan Fogler as Barry Nathan, Michael Ian Black as Pete, Teresa Palmer as Tori, and Topher Grace as Matt Franklin. Last but not the least, he stars as Barry in the movie Wanted, an action plot about a young man who discovers that his estranged father is an assassin. After the death of his father, he gets involved in his father’s old organization to follow his father’s footsteps. The movie stars James McAvoy as Wesley Gibson, Angelina Jolie as Fox, and Morgan Freeman as Sloan among others. Directed by Timur Bekmambetov, the film is set for release on March 28, 2008.
