Kidnapped was one of the television series that broadened Jeremy Sisto’s acting credentials. As the character Lucian Knapp, he was often perceived as a reckless renegade and a strong-minded investigator as well. He was known to be a professional who worked outside the boundaries of the law to retrieve kidnapped victims and guided families through the process.
Subsequent to his 13-episode stint on Kidnapped, he guest starred as Alvin Brickle on the television series Numb3rs. Most recently, he landed a recurring role as Attorney Granger on Law & Order, in which he was featured on five episodes. He also starred in the movie Waitress, along with Keri Russell, Nathan Fillion, Andy Griffith, and Cheryl Hines.
Sisto is set to star in Garden of the Night, a drama film written and directed by Damian Harris. The said movie brings light to the world of child abduction and where it often leads. It follows a 17-year old teen that has endured nine years of horror since she was taken from her home as a little girl. When she finally seeks help from a shelter counselor, she finds the love of her life. Sisto stars as Jimmy along with other actors like Gillian Jacobs, Evan Ross, Tom Arnold, Kevin Zegers, John Malkovich, Kyle Gallner, Harold Perrineau, and Shiloh Fernandez among others. Currently, the 32-year old actor is working on Sweet Flames, a comedy movie directed by Amy Hobby. Also slated for 2007, the film features Sisto as the character James, including Henry Thomas as Bill, Mira Sorvino as Sheila, Dean Winters as Richard, Anne Meara as Peg, Loren Dean as Sandy, Rachel Dratch as Carol, and Will Carter as Schultz to name a few.
