“Christina on the Coast” is no doubt a fan favorite. The first season of the HGTV show pulled in monster ratings and had over 12 million total viewers. Furthermore, over four seasons, the show attracted at least 23 million viewers and ranked among the top 5 non-news/sports programs.

Is “Christina on the Coast” Coming Back in 2022?
Good news. “Christina on the Coast” is definitely coming back in 2022. HGTV has greenlighted the show for the production of new episodes. Additionally, the network also ordered another spinoff series with the working title “Christina in the Country.”
Making the announcement in a press release, vice president of programming at HGTV Katie Ruttan-Daigle, said, “Christina has captivated millions of passionate fans with her West Coast life in three seasons of “Christina on the Coast.” ‘Now she’s ready to share new family adventures and stunning design and renovation projects set in the beautiful Tennessee countryside. We can’t wait to see what’s next for her in “Christina in the Country.’” The news came after Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall signed new multi-year contracts with HGTV in March.
“I am so excited and grateful “Christina in the Country” has officially been picked up,” said Christina. “I love that I get the best of both worlds — the coast and the country. It’s an incredible opportunity to get to work in Tennessee, our home away from home.”
Fans can expect both shows to premiere in late 2022.

What Is “Christina on the Coast” About?
While HGTV hit series “Flip or Flop” focused on past lovers and real estate investors, Tarek and Christina El Moussa (at the time), helping clients flip houses, “Christina on the Coast” focused on Hall’s interior renovation career and a little bit of her personal life.
Set in Southern California, the docu-series is about Christina Hall renovating her new home after her divorce and helping other homeowners remodel and makeover outdated properties into upscale spaces with distinctive design elements. The show also delves into her personal life, including how she met and married her then-husband, Ant Anstead, their divorce a few years later, and how the HGTV star balances parenting with her fast-booming interior designing career.
What Will “Christina In The Country” Be About?
Fans of HGTV star Christina Hall have been a part of her personal journey from the 10-season-long series “Flip or Flop” to its spinoff series “Christina on the Coast.” Now it’s time to cheer her on as she moves across the country to begin a new life with her significant other, Josh Hall, and her three kids. The couple is headed to a farm in Tennessee.
The six-episode docu-series will follow Christina Hall as she expands her design business across the country and spends time with her family.
About Christina Haack
American television personality Christina Meursinge Hall — formerly Christina Haack, Christina El Moussa, and Christina Anstead — was born July 9, 1983, in Anaheim, California. Christina began her career as a real estate investor before branching out into reality TV shows in 2013 with her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. The former couple jointly ran their real estate business until they separated in 2016.
Christina and Tarek finalized their divorce in 2018. Christina would then begin producing her solo show, “Christina on the Coast,” which finally premiered in 2019.
The HGTV star has remarried twice after her failed marriage with Tarek. First, she married English television presenter Anthony Anstead in 2018, a relationship that lasted barely two years. Her most recent marriage is to real estate agent Joshua Hall in April 2022. The two reportedly tied the knot in a private ceremony. Shortly after news of her marriage broke, HGTV announced that Christina and Josh would star in a new docu-series, “Christina in the Country.”
Consequently, Josh Hall, who until now has never been in the limelight, is sure to be a regular face on reality TV. The spinoff series is set to premiere in late 2022.
Christina shares three children with her exes — daughter Taylor Reese and son Brayden James with Tarek, and son Hudson with Anthony Anstead.
Will There be a Season 5 of “Christina on the Coast?”
When season four of “Christina on the Coast” began production, Haack’s marriage to Ant Anstead had already hit the rocks. Fans of the reality TV show freaked out, concerned that the show may not return for a new season. However, contrary to speculations, “Christina on the Coast” has been renewed for a new season — according to Christina Haack.
The reality TV star made the announcement via an Instagram post on March 3, 2022. The post reads, “Well, the day has come. ‘I can finally share that ”Christina on the Coast” has been picked up for more episodes coming your way in 2022! I’m super excited to get back to work and show you all the amazing renovations we have lined up!”
Recently, the actress also shared a behind-the-scenes clip of the next season. The footage shows the reality TV star sitting in a golf cart — next to Hall — as the couple drive to a home she may be working on in the show. Upon their arrival at the home, Haack gets out of the cart and poses for photographs.
The new season will highlight Christina Hall’s adventure with her new husband, Joshua Hall, and the challenges of being a mom of three while also managing a flourishing design business.
