The summer is almost over and Dancing with the Stars will be back in just four weeks. And while we all wait to find out when the new cast will be revealed, fans will at least find out which pros will be competing very soon. ABC has revealed that on Thursday, August 24, the new pro line-up for Dancing with the Stars season 25 will be revealed on Good Morning America.
For the past three Fall seasons, the show has featured 13 couples, so hopefully we’ll at least find out how many couples there will be. It seems likely that we’ll see a lot of familiar faces, possibly pros like Val Chmerkovskiy, Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess, etc.
In addition, an ABC reporter tweeted that Tom Bergeron confirmed two former pros will return for season 25. It’s unclear what constitutes a returning pro or how many seasons they’ve been gone for, but it could suggest Tony Dovolani’s comeback after being absent from the last two seasons.

The biggest question mark may be Alan Bersten. The long-time troupe member has filled in whenever male pros are injured, like he did for Maksim Chmerkovskiy last season. Maks and Val were very vocal on the show about campaigning to have Alan promoted to a full-time pro this season, so will he finally get his shot?
In addition, Tom Bergeron tweeted that the full cast of stars who will dance for the Mirror Ball trophy will be revealed shortly after Labor Day.
Dancing with the Stars season 25 premieres Monday, September 18 at 8/7c on ABC.
