Will she or won’t she? The fate of Claudia Jordan on The Real Housewives of Atlanta just got more confusing as another news outlet claims that the 42-year-old reality star will return for season 8.

In June, it was reported that Jordan was unexpectedly given given the ax by producers for allegedly going after cast member NeNe Leakes several times. Jordan later claimed that she hasn’t exactly been fired.
“No one called and said, ‘Hey, it’s a wrap.’ It didn’t happen. Now, have I gotten my pick-up letter yet? No, I have not,” Jordan told People, adding that last year she only received confirmation to join the show in September. “I’m okay with it being the end of the road if it is, but you never know! It’s not over til the fat lady sings, sand I haven’t heard her sing yet.”

Now OK! Magazine is reporting that Jordan “wasn’t released” from her contract for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. According to the source, the reality star “recently learned that she would be coming back for the new season that has already seen some major cast shakeups!”
Jordan returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, however, does not mean she’s sticking around full time. The insider claims that Jordan “would be coming back as part of her friend Kenya Moore’s storyline, which will likely involve the launch of Moore’s new haircare line and her controversial relationship with her rumored boyfriend Eugene Casciaro.” The source also claimed that Jordan’s best friend Demetria McKinney will also grace season 8.

The upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is shaping up to be quite interesting despite the absence of NeNe Leakes, who decided to quit the Bravo series after seven seasons. Transgender Amiyah Scott, actress Kim Fields, former cast member Sheree Whitfield and friend of the housewives Marlo Hampton are expected to join returning cast members Kenya Moore,Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss, who is expecting a baby.
