Jordan Fisher is on a hot streak on Dancing with the Stars season 25. For the past few weeks he’s been consistently receiving 10s from the judges and has already earned four perfect scores. He’s the clear frontrunner to win the Mirror Ball Trophy, but can he set a record for the most perfect scores in a single season?
Ranking the Best and Worst Trio Dances>>>
Jordan’s streak started on Disney Night, with a perfect 30 for his Moana-themed Foxtrot. Then he was 1 point away from perfection on A Night at the Movies and followed that up with his second perfect 30 on Halloween Night and a pair of 30s on Trios Night.
The current record for the most perfect scores in a single season is eight, held by season 21 winner Bindi Irwin and season 23 winner Laurie Hernandez. They are the only two stars who’ve earned more than six perfect scores.
Should DWTS Do Another All-Stars Season?>>>
Jordan now has four perfect scores, but he has five more competitive dances to go: two in the Semfinals, two in the Finals and the 24-hour fusion challenge on the last night. If he can stay perfect for the rest of the season, he can set a new record with nine perfect scores. Even if he falls short in one of his routines, he can still tie the record. And he needs just three more to be the male star with the most perfect scores.
If anyone can do it, it’s Jordan. He’s received 10s from both Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli for every routine he’s done (not counting the team dance) since week 4. And if not for a pair of 9s from Len, he’d already be at six perfect scores. Winning the Mirror Ball is definitely the goal, but setting a new perfect score record would be an equally amazing accomplishment.
Do you think Jordan will earn perfect scores for his last five routines and set a new record?
